Hallo Loes, We are facinated by your experiences to-date. From your descriptions Kenya appears to be a cross between the poverty of Cambodia and the lawlesnes of Papua New Guinea. We found that even when people have the barest of material possesions they are still friendly and smiling, willing to share their joy and happiness with you. Living with the "locals" is a great way to absorb the culture and idiosyncrasies of the country and its people. You have the "travel bug" and we look forward to seeing you again in Australia before to long.
All our love and best wishes. Liz and John
PS. Your emails are a great way for me to maintain my tenuous hold on my mother tongue.
